Fine Gael Leader Visits Co-operation Ireland
This morning (21 June 2010) Fine Gael Leader Enda Kenny made a welcome visit to Co-operation Ireland’s Belfast office.
The leader accompanied by five other party members, all of whom have an interest in Northern Ireland. They included TDs Seymour Crawford, Fergus O'Dowd, Joe McHugh and Brian Hayes and the Munster MEP Sean Kelly.
Me Kenny’s party stayed for approximately an hour, talking to staff about the work of Co-operation Ireland.
Chief Executive Peter Sheridan gave the group an overview of the charity's programmes and its plans for the future. Mr Kenny expressed an interest in visiting some of Co-operation Ireland’s projects in the near future
