Keep the weekend of 26-27 June 2010 free if you want to be part of the biggest and best North South cycling event – the Co-operation Ireland Maracycle.
The challenge is a 2-day 200-mile cycling extravanga, between the two capital cities of Belfast and Dublin. This year it will begin and end in Belfast and next year Dublin will be the starting location.
Maracycle is returning to mark Co-operation Ireland’s 30 anniversary year. Initially Maracycle began in 1984 and ran for 15 consecutive years until 1998, when it was replaced with BorderTrek and Into the East. At its peak, more than 4000 cyclist took part in the annual maracycle challenge.
