Beyond Borders
The Beyond Borders Programme was initiated in October 2005. It is a targeted exchange programme to tackle the core issues/attitudes that intensify the division among communities within Northern Ireland and between communities from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Youth and Community groups, from radically diverse cultural backgrounds and with opposing attitudes will participate in a three-year programme aimed at tackling prejudice, addressing sectarianism and promoting respect. The programme will be evaluated on an annual basis for the extent to which it delivers on objectives, and to generate knowledge about best practice that can feedback into the policy process.
